Pamela Riffle 2x Knee Replacement
“He was the first physician that didn’t make me feel like it was my fault. He gave me hope,” expressed Pamela. Pamela has lived

in West Virginia all her life and when her husband passed away 6 years ago, she was left with nothing, but bad knees. After many injections and rejections for surgery she decided to seek out Dr. Brian Cohen.
“I got emotional because finally someone decided to listen to me,” she stated. While it’s important to be a good candidate for surgery and meet requirements such as not smoking, good nutrition and body mass index, Cohen Orthopedic strives to help patients meet those instead of leading patients to believe they’re on their own.
Pamela dedicated 42 years in the medical field and had reached a point of not walking. Within two days of calling, she had saw a Sports Medicine provider, Dr. Cohen, and was scheduled to have her first knee replaced. At 69 years old, she received her right knee replacement and the following year, at 70 years old, received her left knee replacement.
“I was back to church in two weeks,” Pamela explained. “I have since acquired a new part-time job at a local deli and I’m on my feet for 7-8 hours. I absolutely love it.”
